The Outer Banks' original course, this Art Wall design winds through Kitty Hawk Woods
Maritime Forest. Narrow, winding fairways and high rough reflect the Scottish origins of
the game. Newly renovated in '97, some of the holes have been lengthened and new tee boxes
built for a new challenge.

Opened in the summer of 1996, this is the only course built on the Currituck Outer
Banks, in Corolla. Rated as one of the Ten Best New Courses in 1996 by both Golf Magazine
and the Washington Golf Monthly and one of the Top 25 Courses in North Carolina in 1999 by
Golf Digest, this Rees Jones design promises to impress even the very seasoned
player. The course runs along the Currituck Sound among wetlands, sand dunes and maritime
forests.
